Who we are

CAPEC — Casa de Apoio às Pessoas com Câncer is a registered Brazilian nonprofit (CNPJ 08.725.760/0001-78) based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, offering free social, emotional and nutritional support to cancer patients in vulnerable situations. This website (capec.ngo) is our international donation page. For anything related to your data, contact us at contact@capec.ngo.

Donations

Donations are processed by Donorbox and its payment partners (Stripe and PayPal). When you donate, they process your payment details under their own privacy policies — we never see or store your full card number. CAPEC receives your name, e-mail and donation details so we can issue receipts, thank you and keep required accounting records.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand visits and improve our fundraising campaigns. These tools are only activated after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser — the banner will appear again on your next visit.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not send marketing e-mails without your permission. We only share data with the service providers described above, strictly to operate this site and process donations.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (Europe), the LGPD (Brazil) and similar laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, e-mail us at contact@capec.ngo and we will respond as quickly as we can.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Questions are always welcome — transparency is one of our founding values.
